Match 19 : RA Jadeja with 28 balls 62* runs and three for 13 runs powered CSK to upset RCB by 69 runs

19th Match of the 14th season Indian Premier League 2021 played between Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai at 3:30 pm.

Opting to bat first, Chennai got good start with Faf du Plessis and RD Gaikwad initially. Both added 74 runs for 1st wicket brfore Gaikwad got out scoring 33 runs. Faf du Plessi also played wonderful inning of 50 runs before left the field. SK Raina added 18 balls 24 runs but in last over Ravindra Jadeja smashed 37 runs of Purple Cap holder Harshal Patel's over and helps CSK to set huge target of 192 runs for Bangalore to get. Jadeja played super quick inning of 28 balls 62 unbeaten runs. He smashed 37 runs of Harshal Patel's last over with five massive sixes and one four.

Following huge target, Bangalore got firing start and were 44/1 just in 3.1 overs before Kihli got out scoring 8 runs. Padikkal also made his way scoring 15 balls 34 runs. Other middle and lower order batsmen failed to bat well and RCB scroe 122 runs in 20 overs. Chennai won the match by huge margins of 69 runs and rele points tally again. Jadeja took 3 wickets of 13 runs and declared man of the match for his 3 wkts and 62* runs.
