Match 25 : Prithvi Shaw's super quick 41 balls 82 runs powered Delhi to upset Kolkata by 7 wkts

25th Match of the 14th season Indian Premier League 2021 played between Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad at 7:30 pm.

Putting into bat first by Delhi, Kolkata with Shubhman Gill's 43 runs and AD Russell's quick 27 balls 45 runs managed to set 155 runs target for Delhi to get. Lalit Yadav and Axar Patel took 2 wickets each for Delhi as well.

Following 155 runs target, Delhi made firing start with PP Shaw as he smashed six fours in very first over of Shivam Mavi. He became 3rd IPL batsman after AM Rahane and Luke Wright to score consecutive six fours in over. PP Shaw made 82 runs of just 41 balls with 11 fours and 3 massive sixes and with 200 stike rates as well. S Dhawan also played well and made 46 runs. Delhi made chase in 16.3 overs and won the match by 7 wkts. PP shaw declared man of the match.
