Match 13 : Amit Mishra's four for 24 runs and S Dhawan's sensible 45 runs led Delhi to upset Mumbai by 6 wkts

13th Match of the 14th season Indian Premier League 2021 played between Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai at 7:30 pm.

Opting to bat first, Mumbai lost Q de Kock early scoring just 2 runs. Suryakumar joined with skipper Rohit and played good inning of 24 runs. Rohit also contributed well 30 balls 44 runs before lost his wicket. Mumbai lost Hardik, Krunal and Pollard in quick successions ans were in trouble. Mumbai managed to set small target of 138 runs for Delhi to get. Amit Mishra bowled superbly and picked up four wickets of 24 runs. Avesh Khan also took 2 wickets for DC as well.

Following small target of 138 runs, Delhi also lost PP Shaw early scoring just 7 runs. S Dhawan and SPD Smith took the charge in hand for DC and played sensible cricket. Smith made 33 runs and S Dhawan contributed well 45 runs before left the field. Rest was done by Lalit Yadav (22 runs) and S Hetmyer 9 balls 14 unbeaten runs and presented Delhi well deserve win by 6 wickets. Amit Mishra declared man of the match for his 4 for 24 runs.
