Putting into bat first by Delhi, Mumbai with very poor batting performances managed to set small target of 130 runs for Delhi to get. Suryakumar Yadav with 33 runs were top scorer for Mumbai. Avesh Khan and Axar Patel bowled tight spells and picked up three wickets each for Delhi Capitals. Following 130 runs, Delhi with Rishabh Pant's 26 and SS Iyer's sensible 33 unbeaten runs made chase in 19.1 overs and won the match by 4 wickets. Delhi qualify for playoffs as well. Axar Patel declared man of the match for his 3 wickets.
