Match 29 : Mayank Agrawal's 99 runs went in vain as Dhawan's 69* runs led Delhi to win over Punjab by 7 wkts

29th Match of the 14th season Indian Premier League 2021 played between Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals on Sunday, May 02, 2021 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad at 7:30 pm.

Putting into bat first by Delhi, Punjab with nes captain MA Agrawal's 58 balls uinbeaten 99 runs managed to set good target of 167 runs for Punjab to get. Kagiso Rabada bowled well and took three wickets of 36 runs.

Following 167 runs target, Delhi made as usual confiden and positive start with Dhawan and PP shaw initially. Both added 63 runs before PP Shaw got out scoring quick 22 balls 39 runs. Dhawan continued with his best form and led Delhi to a comprehensive win by 7 wickets scoring unbeaten 69 runs. He holds Orange cap with 380 runs as well. Mayank Agrawal declared man of the match his wonderful 99 runs.
