Match 26 : KL Rahul's classic 91 unbeaten run followed by Harpreet Brar's 3 for 19 led PBKS to upset RCB by 34 runs

26th Match of the 14th season Indian Premier League 2021 played between Punjab Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad at 7:30 pm.

Putting into bat first by Bangalore, Punjab with CH Gayle's 24 balls 46 quick runs and skipper K Rahul's wonderful 57 balls 91 unbeaten runs managed to set huge target of 180 runs for Bangalore to get. Kyle Jamieson bowled well and took two wickets for Bangalore.

Following huge target of 180 runs, Bangalore lost Padikkal early scoring just 7 runs. Patidar joined with Kohli and played good cricket initially. But Harpreet Brar came into bowl and took Kohli, Maxwell and AB de Villiers in quick successions and RCB were in deep trouble. Lower order batsman Harshal PAtel tried well with 13 balls 31 runs but RCB score 145 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 34 runs. Brar took 3 wickets and declared man of the match.
