39th Match of the 14th season Indian Premier League 2021 played between Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Mumbai Indians on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Dubai Cricket Stadium, Dubai at 7:30 pm.

Putting into bat first by Mumbai, Bangalore with Virat Kohli's 51 runs and GJ Maxwell's 37 balls 56 runs managed to set 166 runs target for Mumbai to win. Jasprit Bumrah bowled well for Mumbai and took three wickets of 36 runs. Following 166 runs, Mumbai opening batsmen Q de Kock 24 and RG Sharma 28 balls 43 runs gave superb start. But other middle and lower orders failed to stood in middle for long and Mumbai team all our scoring just 111 runs in 18.1 overs and lost the match by huge 54 runs. Harshal Patel claimed his 1st IPL Hat-trick with four for just 17 runs. Chahal also picked up 3 wickets of just 11 runs in his 4 overs. GJ Maxwell had a good day today, he smashed 56 runs with 2 important wickets. He declared man of the match.
