16th Match of the 14th season Indian Premier League 2021 played between Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Rajasthan Royals on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai at 7:30 pm.

Putting into bat first by Bangalore, Rajasthan on batting pitch set good target of 178 runs with Shivam Dube 32 balls 46 runs and Rahul Tewatia's quick 23 balls 40 runs. Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel bowled well for RCB and took three wickets each.

Following huge target of 178 runs, Bangalore with opening batsmen wonderful batting performances made chase easily in 16.3 overs and won the match comprehensively by huge margins of 10 wickets. Devdutt Padikkal smashed his maiden century of IPL with 52 balls 101 unbeaten runs and Virat Kohli became first IPL batsmen to score six thousand plus runs with 47 balls 72 unbeaten runs. RCB rules points tally as well with four out of four wins in IPL 2021. Padikkal declared man of the match.
