IPL Match 11 : Liam Livingstone's 32 balls 60 runs & 2 wkts helps Punjab to upset Chennai by huge 54 runs
IPLT20 2022 Chennai Super Kings vs Punjab Kings Match 11 played on Sunday, April 03, 2022 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
Putting into bat first by Chennai, Punjab lost 2 wickets early scoring 14 runs. Dhawan and Liam Livingstone took the charge in hand and played wonderful cricket. Dhawan made 33 runs and Liam Livingstone smashed 32 balls 60 runs before lost his wicket. Other middle and lower order batsmen failed to kept the momentum on and Punjab score 180 runs in 20 overs. Chris Jordan and Dwaine Pretorius took 2 wickets each for Chennai as well.
Following 181 runs, Chennai lost top five wickets of just 36 runs. MS Dhoni and Shivam Dube played some good cricket but managed to score 126 runs and lost the match by huge margins of 54 runs. Shivam Dube played well and contributed 57 runs. Rahul Chahar took 3 wkts and Vaibhav Arora & Liam Livingstone took 2 wkts for Punjab. Liam Livingstone declared man of the match.
