Final Match: Hardik Pandya's 3 for 17 and 34 runs powered Gujarat to knees Down Rajasthan by 7 wkts and won maiden IPL Title
IPLT20 2022 Gujarat Titans vs Rajasthan Royals Grand Finale match will be played on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Opting to bat first, Rajasthan got good start with Jaiswal and Buttler initially. Jaiswal got out scoring 16 balls 22 runs and Buttler also made his way scoring 39 runs. Other middle and lower order batsmen faild to stood in middle for long and Rajasthan managed to set 131 runs target for Gujarat to win. Hardik Pandya bowled his career bst spell 4-0-17-3. R Sai Kishore also took 2 wickets for Guarat as well.
Following small target of 131 runs, Gujarat lost Saha (5) and MS Wade (8) early. Hardik Pandya joined with Shubman and played sensible inning of 34 runs before left the field. Shubman Gill played till end and contributed well 45* runs. David Miller also played quick inning of 19 balls 32* runs to present Gujarat maiden IPL Trophy in very first season. Gujarat won by 7 wkts. Hardik dclared man of the match for his 3 wkts and 34 runs.
