Putting into bat first by Gujarat, Hyderabad with Abhishek Sharma 42 balls 65 runs, Aiden Markram 40 balls 56 runs and Shashank Singh's 6 balls 25 unbeaten runs cameo set huge target of 196 runs for Gujarat to get. Mohammed Shami bowled well and took 3 wickets of 39 runs for Gujarat as well.
Following huge target of 196 runs, Gujarat with Wriddhiman Saha's superb 38 balls 68 runs and Rahul Tewatia & Rashid Khan's last few overs cameo won the last ball finished heart beating match by 5 wickets. Rahul Tewatia smashed 21 balls 40 unbeaten runs and Rashid Khan's super quick 11 balls 31 unbeaten runs were highlights of Gujarat inning. Umran Malik bowled wonderful spell of 4-0-25-5 for Hyderabad. He declared man of the match.
