Putting into bat first by Lucknow, Bangalore 2 wickets Anuj Rawat (4) and Virat (0) in 1st over. Faf du Plessis took the charge in hand and played wonderful inning of 64 balls 96 balls. Shahbaz Ahmed 26 runs and Glenn Maxwell 11 balls 23 runs other two top scorers for RCB. Bangalore set 182 runs target for Lucknow to get. Dushmantha Chameera and Jason Holder took 2 wikets each for Lucknow as well.
Following 182 runs, Lucknow lost 2 wickets in 33 runs. KL Rahul also made his way scoring 30 runs. Krunal Pandya came in to bat and played good quick inning of 28 balls 42 runs. Marcus Stoinis with 15 balls 24 runs tried his best but Lucknow score 163 runs and lost the match by 18 runs. Josh Hazlewood bowled well and picked up 4 wickets of 25 runs. Faf du Plessis declared man of the match for his 96 runs.
