Match 42 : Q de Kock's 46 runs followed by Mohsin's 3 for 24 & Krunal's 2 for 11 runs led Lucknow to knees down Punjab by 20 runs

IPLT20 2022 Punjab Kings vs Lucknow Super Giants Match 42 played on Friday, April 29, 2022 at MCA Stadium, Pune.

Putting into bat first by Punjab, Lucknow lost KL Rahul scoring just 6 runs. Quinton de Kock with 46 runs and Deepak Hooda with 34 runs played some good cricket in middle overs. But other batsmen failed to bat well and Lucknow managed to score 153 runs in 20 overs. Kagiso Rabada bowled well and took four wicket for Punjab.

Following small target of 154 runs, Punjab with poor batting performances managed to score just 133 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 20 runs. Mayank Agarwal with 17 balls 25 runs and Jonny Bairstow's 32 runs were highest scores for Punjab. Mohsin Khan bowled well and took 3 wickets. Dushmantha Chameera and Krunal Pandya also took 2 wickets with tight bowling spells. Krunal declared man of the match for his 4-1-11-2.
