Putting into bat first by Delhi, Rajasthan with Ravichandran Ashwin's 38 balls 50 runs and Devdutt Padikkal's 30 balls 48 runs managed to set good defending target of 161 runs for Delhi to get. Sahariya, Nortje and MR Marsh took 2 wickets each for Delhi as well.

Following 161 runs, Delhi lost S Bharat early for a duck in 1st over. David Warner and Mitchell Marsh took the charge in hand for Delhi and played wonderful cricket. Both added 143 runs for 2nd wicket gefore Marsh got out scoring superb 62 balls 89 runs. He smashed seven sixes in his wonderful inning. David Warner played till end score 52 runs and presented Delhi well needed win by huge 8 wickets. MR Marsh declared man of the match for his 2 wickets and 89 runs.
