Putting into bat first by Hyderabad, Gujarat with skipper Hardik Pandya's 50 unbeaten runs and Abhinav Manohar's 21 balls 35 runs managed to set good defending target of 163 runs for Hyderabad to get. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan took 2 wickets each for Hyderabad.
Following 163 runs, Hyderabad got slow but steady start with KS Willimson and Abhishek Sharma initially. Abhishek played good inning of 42 runs and Willimson also played wonderful inning of 57 runs before left the field. N Pooran came in middle and smashed 18 balls 34 runs and presented SRH big win by 8 wickets with 5 balls remaining. KS Willimson declared man of the mtch.
