Match 70 : Brar's 3 for 26 followed by Livingstone's 22 balls 49* runs led Punjab to knees down Hyderabad by 5 wkts
IPLT20 2022 Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Punjab Kings Match 70 played on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Opting to bat first, Hyderabad with Abhishek Sharma's 43 runs, Washington Sundar's 25 and Romario Shepherd's unbeaten 15 balls 26 runs managed to set 158 runs target foe Punjab to get. Nathan Ellis and Harpreet Brar took 3 wickets each for Punjab as well.
Following 158 runs, Punjab got quick start with Bairstow and Shikhar initially. Bairstow got out scoring quick 15 balls 23 runs and Dhawan played good inning of 39 runs. Liam Livingstone came in middle and smashed 22 balls 49 unbeaten runs with five massive sixes and presented Punjab good win by 5 wickets with 29 balls remaining. Harpreet Brar declared man of the match for his important three wickets.
