Match 6 : Ruturaj's quick fifty followed by Moeen Ali's 4 for 26 led Chennai to win over Lucknow by 12 runs

IPLT20 2023 Chennai Super Kings vs Lucknow Super Giants match played on Monday, April 03, 2023 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

Putting into bat first by Lucknow, Chennai got good start with Gaikwad and Convey initially. Both added 110 runs in 9.1 overs before Convay got out scoring 29 balls 47 runs. Gaikwad also contributed well 31 balls 57 runs before left the field. Shivam Dube and Ambati Rayudu also made 27 runs esch. MS Dhoni played just 3 balls and hitz 2 sixes in his quick inning. CSK set huge target of 218 runs for LSG to get. Mark Wood and Ravi Bishnoi took 3 wickets each for Lucknow as well.

Following huge target of 218 runs, Lucknow got firing start with Kyle Mayers and KL Rahul initially. Kyle Mayers lost his wicket scoring quick 22 balls 53 runs. Other middle orders lost wickets early and LSG were in trouble. In later overs Nicholas Pooran tried best with 18 balls 32 runs but LSG score 205 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 12 runs. MM Ali took wickets of 26 runs and declared man of the match.
