Match 24 : Devon Conway's 45 balls 83 & Shivam Dube's quick 52 runs powered Chennai to upset Bangalore by 8 runs
IPLT20 2023 Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings match played on Monday, April 17, 2023 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
Putting into bat first by Bangalore, Chennai with wonderful batting performances set huge target of 227 runs for Bangalore to get. Devon Conway 45 balls 83 runs, Ajinkya Rahane 20 balls 37 runs and Shivam Dube 27 balls 52 runs were top scorers for CSK.
Following huge target of 227 runs, Bangalore with Faf du Plessis 33 balls 62 runs, Glenn Maxwell's firing 36 balls 76 runs and Dinesh Karthik's 14 balls 28 runs tried level best but managed to score 218 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 8 runs. Tushar Deshpande with 3 wickets were top bowler for CSK. Devon Conway got man of the match award for his quick 45 balls 83 runs.
