Putting into bat first by Rajasthan, Gujarat with Sai Sudharsan's wonderful 53 balls 82 runs, Jos Buttler and M Shahrukh Khan's 36 runs each lower orders superb cameos set huge target of 218 runs for Rajasthan to get. Deshpande and Theekshana shared 2 wickets each for Rajasthan as well.
Following huge target of 218 runs, Rajasthan with Sanju Samson's 28 balls 41 runs and Shimron Hetmyer's quick 32 balls 52 runs managed to score 159 runs in 19.2 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 58 runs. Prasidh Krishna with 3 for 24 runs was top bowler for Gujarat. Sai Sudarshan declared man of the match foe his superb 82 runs.
