IPL Match-31 : Chahal's magic bowling with 4 for 28 & Jansen's 3 for 17 powered PBKS to defend 111 runs and upset KKR by 16 runs
31st Match of IPLT20 2025 between Punjab Kings vs Kolkata Knight Riders played on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at PCA New Stadium, New Chandigarh at 7:00 pm.
Opting to bat first, Punjab collepsed against Kolkata's quality bowling and all our in 15.3 overs scoring just 111 runs. Prabhsimran Singh with 30 runs was top scorer for PBKS. Harshit Rana took top 3 wickets spending 25 runs in his 3 overs. Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine shared 2 wickets each for KKR as well.
Following just 112 runs target, Kolkata with very poor batting performances all out scoring just 95 runs in 15.1 overs and lost low scoring match by 16 runs. Angkrish Raghuvanshi with 37 runs was top scorer for KKR. Marco Jansen took 3 wickets of 17 runs in his 3.1 overs and Yuzvendra Chahal claimed 4 wickets of 28 runs in his 4 overs. He declared man of the match.
