IPL Match-18 : Jaiswal, Samson and Riyan's wonderful batting followed by Archer's 3 for 25 led RR to upset PBKS by huge 50 runs
18th Match of IPLT20 2025 between Punjab Kings vs Rajasthan Royals played on Saturday, April 05, 2025 at PCA New Stadium, New Chandigarh at 7:00 pm.
Putting into bat first by Punjabm\, Rajasthan with top orders superb batting set huge target of 206 runs for PBKS to get. YBK Jaiswal with 45 balls 67 runs, Sanju Samson with 38 runs and Riyan Parag with quick unbeaten 25 balls 43 runs were top scorers for Rajasthan. Lockie Ferguson with 2 for 37 was top bowler for Punjab as well.
Following huge target of 206 runs, Punjab top order bastmen failed to bat well and at one stage PBKS were 4/43 in 6.2 overs. Nehal Wadhera with 41 balls 61 runs and Glenn Maxwell's 21 balls 30 runs were top scorers for PBKS. PBKS score 155/9 runs in 20 overs and lost the matxh by huge margins of 50 runs. Jofra Archer bowled well and took 3 wickets of 25 runs and declared man of the match.
