2nd Match of IPLt20 2016 has been played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils at Eden Gardens Stadium, Kollkata Putting into bat first by Kolkata, Delhi Daredevils continued with super flop show and managed to put 98 runs in 17.4 overs. Kolkata chased the given target in 14.1 overs having lost just 1 wickets and won the match by huge margins of 9 wickets. AD Russell declared man of the match for his 3 wickets for 24 runs.

Earlier, Kolkata won the toss and decided to field first. Delhi batsmen could not stood in middle for long and contunued to lost wickets in regular interwals and managed to put very small totals of 98 runs in 17.4 overs.

Following small target of 99 runs, Kolkata as reputation made confident start with RV Uthappa and skipper G Gambhir. Both played wrell and contributed well 35 and 38* runs respectively and presented welcome win in very first match of IPL 2016 by huge margins of 9 wickets.
