30th Match of IPLt20 2016 has been played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on 2nd May 2016. Putting into bat first by Kolkata, Bangalore put good totals of 185 runs with V Kohli's and KL Rahul's 52 runs each in 20 overs. Kolkata with YK Pathan;s firing 60* of just 29 runs chased the given target in 19.1 over and won by 5 wkts. AD Russell declared man of the match for his 39 runs and 1 wkt.

Earlier, Kolkata won the toss and put Bangalore into bat first. CH Gayle joined team today and open with KL Rahul for Bangalore. Gayle failed today and lost his wicket early scoring just 7 runs. KL Rahul and V Kohli played good innings for RCB and contributed 52 runs each for Bangalore. In later overs middle and lower ordrs played quick cricket and put huge score of 185 runs in 20 overs.

Following target of 186 runs, Kolkata also lost RV Uthappa early for 1 run. G Gambhir played well but lost his wicket scoring 37 runs. YK Pathan and AD Russell played superb inning for Kolkata and presented comprehensive win by 5 wickets when 5 balls spare to bowl. AD Russel declared man of the match for his all round performance with 39 runs 1 wkt and 1 catch on the field.
