16th Match of IPLt20 2016 has been played between Rising Pune Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore at MCA International Stadium, Pune on 22nd April 2016. Putting into bat first by Rising Pune, Royal Challengers put huge totals of 185 runs in 20 overs. AB de Villiers 83 and V Kohli 80 were top scorer for Bangalore. Pune Supergiants in reply tired hard but managed to score 172 runs and lost the match by 13 runs. AB de Villiers daclared man of the match for his 83 runs and 2 catched on the field.

Earlier, Rising Pune Supergiants won the toss and elected to field first. Bangalore could not made batter start and lost KL Rahul early scoring just 7 runs. AB de Villiers joined with V Kohli and played extra ordinery cricket in middle. Both played well and contributed huge runs 155 runs fr 2nd wicket. V Kohli made 80 runs and AB de Villiers made quick 83 runs of just 46 balls. Both got out in last over of the inning and put Bangalore on huge totals of 185 runs in 20 overs.

Following huge target of 186 runs, Pune Supergiants lost F de Plessis early scoring just 2 runs. KP Pietersen retired hurt for no score. SPD Smith came in middle but unfortunately got run out scoring 4 runs and Pune were in deep trouble. MS Dhoni joined with AM Rahane and played slow and sensible cricket in middle overs. Both played well and contributed 41 and 60 runs for Pune before lost their wickets. In later overs NLTC Perera played firing inning of 34 runs of just 13 balls
