34th Match of IPLt20 2016 has been played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajkot based Gujarat Lions at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad on 6th May 2016. Putting into bat first by Hyderabad, Gujarat most batsmen failed to bat well and managed to put small totals of 126 runs in 20 overs. Hyderabad chased small target in 19 overs with S Dhawan's 47* runs and won by 5 wkts. B Kumar declared man of the match for his superb bowling with 2 wkts of 28 runs.

Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to field first. In the history of IPL first time 1st two overs has been bowled maiden by B Kumar and A Nehra. Gujarat opening batsmen DR Smith and BB McCullum could not understand Hyderabad pacers well and gone very cheaply today. Btoh made 1 and 7 runs respectively. Skipper SK Raina tried to makeup slower run rates and got out in hurry scoring 20 of 10 balls. Only AJ Finch played good cricket for Gujarat and smashed 51* runs in his good innings. Gujarat Lions managed to score 126 runs in 20 overs.

Following small totals of 126 runs, Hyderabad got good quick start with skipper DA Warner and S Dhawan initially. Warner gone early scoring quick 24 of 17 runs. KS Willimson and HEnriques also departed early scoring 6 and 14 runs. Yuvraj Singh came in middle but falls ealry scoring just 5 runs in 14 balls. S Dhawan played till end and made 47* runs. Hyderabad chased the small target in 19 overs and won by 5 wkts as well.
