Match 64 : Ishant Sharma's 3 for 34 runs with Tristan Stubbs & Abishek Porel's quick 50s led Delhi to upset Lucknow by 19 runs
IPLT20 2024 Delhi Capitals vs Lucknow Super Giants match played on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
Putting into bat first by Lucknow, Delhi with Abishek Porel's 33 balls 58 runs, Shai Hope's 38 runs, Rr Pant's 33 runs and Tristan Stubbs' unbeaten 25 balls 57 runs set huge target of 209 runs for Lucknow to get. Naveen-ul-Haq with 2 for 51 runs was top bowlers for Lucknow.
Following huge target of 209 runs, Lucknow top order batsmen faild to bat well and at one stage LSG were 44/4 in 4.1 overs. Nicholas Pooran with 27 balls 61 runs and Arshad Khan with 33 balls 58* runs played well but LSG managed to score 189/9 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 19 runs. Ishant Sharma declared man of the match for his top 3 wickets.
