Match 5 : Sai Sudarshan's 45 runs followed by excellent pace bowling powered Gujarat to crushed Mumbai by 6 runs
IPLT20 2024 Gujarat Titans vs Mumbai Indians match played on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Putting into bat first by Mumbai, Gujarat with Shubman Gill's 31 runs, Sai Sudharsan's 45 runs and Rahul Tewatia's 15 balls 22 runs managed to set 168 runs target for Mumbai to get. Jasprit Bumrah bowled well and took 3 wickets of just 14 runs in his 4 overs. Gerald Coetzee took 2 wickets for Mumbai.
Following 168 runs target, Mumbai lost Ishan in very 1st overs for a duck. Rohit Sharma with 43 runs and Dewald Brevis with 46 runs played good cricket for Mumbai. Other middle and lower order batsmen failed to bat well and managed to score 162 runs in 20 overs. Gujarat won by 6 runs in tight finished match.
