Opting to bat first, India with Shubman Gills' wonderful 63 balls 126 unbeaten runs and Rahul Tripathi's firing 22 balls 44 runs set huge target of 235 runs for New Zealand.

Following huge target of 235 runs, New Zealand with very poor batting performances all out in 12.1 overs having score just 66 runs and lost the match by huge margins of 168 runs. Hardik Pandya with 4 for 16 runs were top bowler for India. Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik and Shivam Mavi also picked up 2 wickets each. Shubman declared man of the match for his 128 unbeaten runs, Hardik declared player of the series. India won 3-match series 2-1 as well.
