3rd Test : Ajaz Patel's 11 wickets in match powered New Zealand to upset India by 25 runs and won 3-match test series 3-0

3rd Test match of three test match series played between India vs New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai during 1st to 5th November, 2024.

Day-3

New Zdaland made 174 runs in 2nd inning and India got 147 runs target to win. India with poor batting performances all out scoring just 121 rus and lost the match by 25 runs. Rishabh Pant with 64 runs was top scorer. Ajaz Patel bowled well and took 6 wickets of 57 runs. He declared man of the match for 11 wickets in match. New Zealand won 3-match series 3-0 as well.

Day-1

Opting to bat first, New Zealand with Will Young's 71 runs and Daryl Mitchell's 82 runs score 235 runs in 1st inning. Ravindra Jadeja took 5 and Washington Sundar took 4 wickets for India. Batting in 1st inning India were 84/4 at stumps on day-1.Shubman Gill with 31 runs and Rishabh Pant with 1 runs to resume batting on 2nd day.
