Putting into bat first by New Zealand, India with KL Rahul's superb 112 runs and Shreyas Iyer's 62 runs set goos target of 297 runs for New Zealand to get. HK Bennett bowled well for Kiwis and took 4 wickets. New Zealand in reply with MJ Guptill's 66, Henry Nicholls' wonderful 80 runs and C de Grandhomme's quick 28 balls 58 runs made chase easily in 47.1 overs and won the match comprehensively by 5 wickets. Nicholls declared man of the match for his 80 runs and Ross Taylor declared man of the match for his classic batting in series. New Zealand won 3-match odi series 3-0 as well.
