Day 5 : Lungi Ngidi's 6 for 39 in maiden test powered Africa to upset India by 135 runs and led 3-match series 2-0
India resume batting with 26/3 and all out scoring 151 runs in 50.2 overs. Lungi Ngidi's impressive bowling in debuten test with 6 wikets for 39 runs in 2nd inning powered South Africa to crush India by huge margins of 135 runs and led 3-match series 2-0 as well. K Rabada also bowled well and tok 3 wicket for Africa. RG Sharma played some good cricket in middle for India and contributed 47 runs. L Ngidi declared man of the match for his maiden 6 wickets hawl in debut test match.
Day 4 : Shami's 4 and Bumrah's 3 wkts helps India to finish African inning on 258 but, India were 35/3 and still behind 252 runs
South Africa 2nd inning ended in 258 runs and India got 287 runs target to get. AB de Villiers played well for Africa and contributed 80 run. D Elger also played well and made 61 runs before left the field. Mhd Shami bowled well and picked up 4 wickets. Bumrah also took 3 wicket for India. India once again failed to made batter start and lost both openers early when team score was 16 runs. Skipper V Kohli also followed them scoring 5 runs and India were in trouble with 26/3 at one stage. CA Pujara 11* amd Parthiv Patel 5* were in middle to resume batting on 5th and last day of 2nd test. India still require another 252 runs with 7 wickets remaining.
Day 1 : AK Markram's 94 & HM amla's 82 helps South Africa to score 269/6 at stumps, R Ashwin took 3 wickets for India
2nd test of 3-match series started today betwen South and India at Supersport Stadium, Centurion. Opting to bat first, South Africa put 269/6 at stumps day 1. AK Makram played superb inning of 94 runs from the top and HM Amla as usual played god inning of 82 runs before left the field. R Ashwin bowled well for India and picked up 3 wickets. South African Skipper F du Plessis 24* and KA Maharaj 10* were in middle to resume 2nd day morning play.
