Miller, Klaasen & Phehlukwayo's super quick innings upset India by 5 wkts (D/L) and keep series alive
4th one-day international match of 6-match series played between South Africa and India at Johannesburg today. Opting to bat first, India with S Dhawan and V Kohli's excellent batting managed to score 200/2 in 34.2 overs. Virat Kohli made well 75 runs before left the field. S Dhawan played splendid inning of 109 runs before got out. In later overs MS Dhoni played sensible cricket and contributed 42 unbeaten runs. India managed to put compatative total of 289 runs in 50 overs. South Africa with splendid batting performances won the match by 5 wickets (D/L) with 15 balls remaining. H Klaasen declared man of the match for his 43 unbeaten runs of just 27 balls.
Following target of 290 runs, South Africa made good start with skipper Markram and HM Amla initially. Both played well and added 43 runs in 7.2 overs before Markram got out scoring 22 runs. Lightning once again stopped the match and game delayed by bad weather again. Match started after long interwal and Africa given 202 runs target in 28 overs. South African bated excellent cricket and made chase in 25.3 overs and won the match by 5 wickets with 15 baalls remaining. H Klaasen 43* of 27 balls, DA Miller 39 of 28 balls and Phehlukwayo's 23 of just 5 balls were main highlights of South African inning. India still led by 3-1 of 6-match ODI series. But today was African's day and they bated extraordinery innings as well.
