Putting into bat first by Bangladesh, Sri Lanka with Kusal Mendis' 57 and Kusal Perera's 74 runs managed to put huge total of 214 runs in 20 overs. Bangladesh in reply with excellent performances made record chase of 215 runs in 19.4 overs and upset host team Sri Lanka by 5 wickets with 2 balls remaining. Top order batsmen Tamim Iqbal (47) and Liton Das gave Bangladesh super quick start and in later overs Mushfiqur Rahim's splendid un-beaten 72 runs of 35 balls powered Bangladesh to made a record chase of 215 runs and won the match by 5 wickets. M Rahim declared declared man of the match for his brave 72 runs of just 35 balls.
