3rd oneday international match of three odi match series played between India vs Sri Lanka at Greenfield Cricket Stadium, Thiruvanthapuram on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

Opting to bat first, India with Rohit Sharma's 42, Shubman Gill's wonderful 116 runs and Virat Kohli's 110 balls 166 unbeaten runs set huge target of 391 runs for Sri Lanka to get. Kasun Rajitha and Lahiru Kumara were expensive but took 2 wickets each for Sri Lanka.

Following huge target of 391 runs, Sri Lanka collepsed against Indien pase attack and managed to score just 73 runs and lost the match by record 317 runs. Mhd Siraj with 4 wickets were top bowler for India. Kulddep and Mhd Shami also took 2 wickets each for India. Virat Kohli declared man of the match for his 166 unbeaten runs and also man of the series. India won 3 match series 3-0 as well.
