3rd T20i : Suryakumar's 51 balls 112 unbeaten runs powered India to crush Sri Lanka by huge 91 runs and seal 3-match series 2-1
3rd twenty20 match of three t20i match series played between India vs Sri Lanka at Saurashtra Cricket Stadium, Rajkot on Saturday, January 07, 2023.
Opting to bat first, India with Shubman Gill's 46, Rahul Tripathi's quick 16 balls 35 runs and Suryakumar Yadav's wonderful 51 balls 112 unbeaten runs managed to set huge target of 229 runs for Sri Lanka. Suryakumar Yadav hitz 7 fours and 9 towering sixes in his superb inning.
Following huge target of 229 runs, Sri Lanka managed to score 137 runs in 16.4 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 91 runs. Kusal Mendis and Dasun Shanaka with 23 runs each were top scorers for Sri Lanka. Arshdeep Singh took 3 wicket. Hardik Pandya, Umran Malik and Yuzvendra Chahal shared 2 wickets each for India. Suryakumar declared man of the match for his 112* runs. India won 3-match series 2-1 as well. Axar Patel declared player of the series Award for his wonderful performances with 117 runs and 3 wickets in series.
