After got excellent start by Dhawan and Rahane's fifties, Rain washed away the match at Trinidad & 5 match series level 0-0
1st one day international of five match series between West Indies and India played at Queen's Park Oval, Post of Spain, Trinidad. Putting into bat first by West Indies, India were in good positon to put big total with opening batsmen S Dhawan and AM Rahane's fifties. India were 199/3 in 39.2 over as one stage but rain started and force to abendoned the remaining match with wet out field due to heavy rain at Trinidad.
Earlier, West Indies won the toss and chose to field first and let India to set traget to achieve. India got confident start with in form S Dhawan and AM Rahane. Both played sensible cricket and smashed fifties as well. They added 132 runs for 1st wicket before Rahane got out scoring well 62 runs. Dhawan also contributed well 87 runs before lost his wicket. At one stage India were in good position to put bog total with 199/3 in 39.2 overs. Rain started and continued to shower till end and force the match abendoned with wet out field at Trinidad.
