During August 30 to September 17 Pakistan and Sri Lanka to host ODI Asia Cup 2023
Asia cup back into traditional ODI format and schedule for Asia Cup 2023 announced. This year's tournament will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka during August 30 to September 17 in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Six teams will take part in the Asia Cup, with the group stage divided into two groups. India, Nepal and Pakistan in Group A.Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are in Group B.
Sri Lanka are the defending champions, though the 2022 event was played in the 20-over format. The last 50-over Asia Cup was played in 2018 in the UAE, where India beat Bangladesh in a thrilling final.
Pakistan will play 1st Group match of Asia Cup ODI 2023 with Nepal on 30th August at Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan. India will start campain with Pakistan on 2nd September, 2023 at Pallekele Cricket Stadium, Kandy. Final match will be host by R Premadasa Cricket Stadium, Colombo on 17th September, 2023.
Four matches out of 13 matches will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka will host remaining Nine matches.
