Resume batting on 321/7 India with Jadeja's 70 runs and Axar's 84 runs score 400 runs in 1st inning. India ear 223 runs lead over Australia. Batting in 2nd Inning, Australia collapsed badly on team score 91 runs and lost the match by huge margins of an inning and 132 runs. R Ashwin with five wickets were top bowler for India. Shami and Jadeja also took 2 wkts each. RA Jadeja declared man of the match for his 70 runs and 7 wkts in match. India led 4-match series 1-0 as well.

Resume batting on 77/1 India with Rohit Sharma's superb 120 runs, RA Jadeja's unbeaten 66 runs and Axar Patel's unbeaten 52 runs score 321/7 at stumps day-2. Todd Murphy with five for 85 runs were top bowler for Australia. India led by 144 runs over Australia's 1st inning score.
