1st Semi Final : Virat Kohli's superb 84 runs helps India to upset Australia by 4 wickets and got tickets to finale of CT 2025
1st Semi Finale match of Champions Trophy 2025 between India vs Australia played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on Tuesday, 04 March, 2025.
Opting to bat first, Australia with Steven Smith's 73 runs and Alex Carey's 57 balls 61 runs managed to set good defending target of 265 runs for India to get. Mohammed Shami took 3 wickets and Varun Chakravarthy & Ravindra Jadeja shared 2 wickets each for India.
Following 265 runs, India with Shreyas Iyer's 45, KL Rahul's unbeaten 42 and Virat Kohli's superb 84 runs made chase easily in 48.1 overs and won the match comprehensively by 4 wickets. Nathan Ellis and Adam Zampa took 2 wickets each for Australia. Virat declared man of the match for his match winning 84 runs. India enter in grand finale of CT 2025 as well.
