Finale match of Champions Trophy 2025 between India vs New Zealand played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on Sunday, 09 March, 2025.
Opting to bat first, New Zealand with Daryl Mitchell's slow but steady 101 balls 63 runs and Michael Bracewell's quick 40 balls 53 unbeaten runs managed to set good defending target of 252 runs for India to get. Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav bowled well and shared 2 wickets each for India.
Following 252 runs, India with Rohit Sharma's superb 76, Shreyas Iyer's 48, Shubman Gill's 31, Axar Patel's 29 and KL Rahul's unbeaten 34 runs made chase easily in 49 overs and won the match by 4 wickets. Santner and Bracewell took 2 wickets each for New Zealand. India won Champions Trophy 3rd time. Rohit Sharma declared man of the match for his 76 runs. Rachin Ravindra declared player of the series.
