Pakistann selectors announced final 15 man squad for upcoming 2015 ICC Worldcup to be played to Australia and New Zealand in February.
Pakistan have selected 30-year old fast bowler Sohail Khan, batsman Shoaib Maqsood, and fast bowlers Ehsan Adil in their 15-man squad for the 2015 World Cup. Shoaib Maqsood and Ehsan Adil missed New Zealand in December 2014 series because of injuries but have now recovered. Seamer Rahat Ali as a replacement for the injured Junaid Khan in Pakistan's World Cup squad and Nasir Jamshed replaced injured Mhd Hafeez.
The players who were part of the New Zealand series but excluded from the World Cup squad are: Anwar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Nasir Jamshed, Sohail Tanvir and Zulfiqar Babar. Umar Gul and Bilawal Bhatti had been withdrawn from the New Zealand series because of injury and were also not included in the World Cup squad.
Pakistan is in Group B along with Ireland, South Africa, India, West Indies, Zimbabwe and UAE. Team Pakistan will start its World Cup campaign against India in their opening game at the Adelaide Oval on February 15.
