India resume batting with 9/1 and all out on 36 runs scoring just adding 27 more runs. This is India's lowest total in Test ever. Josh Hazlewood bowled wonderful spell of 5-3-8-5 and claim important five wkts, Pat Cummins also bowled superbly and took 4 wickets for Australia. Australia in 2nd inning got 90 runs target and made easily having lost just 2 wickets and won comprehensively by 8 wickets. Tim Paine declared man of the match for his 73* runs and 7 victims behind wickets. Australia led 4-match series 1-0 as well.
Day 2 : Ashwin 4-for and UT Yadav's 3-for led Ind to restricted Aus on 191 runs and lead by 62 runs at Stumps Day 2
India resume batting with 233/6 and all out on 244 runs scoring just adding 11 more runs. MA Starc ended with 4 wkts and Pat Cummins with 3 wickets for Australia. Australia in 1st inning bated very slowly and managed to score 191 runs in 72.1 overs. Tim Paine with 73 runs and Marnus Labuschagne with 46 runs were high scorers for Australia. R Ashwin with 4 wickets was top bowler for India. UT Yadav took 3 wkts and JJ Bumrah picked up 2 wkts for India as well. India in 2nd inning lost PP Shaw early scoring 4 runs and were 9/1 at stumps Day-2.
Day 1 : Virat Kohli's 74 & Pujara-Rahane's 40s led India to a 233/6 in 1st inning at stumps day 1
India won the toss and elected to bat first. PP Shaw and MA Agrawal open inning for India. PP Shaw gone for a duck and Agrawal made 17 runs before left the field. CA Pujara and Virat Kohli took the charge in hand for India. Pujara got out scoring 43 runs. AM Rahane joined with Kohli and played good cricket. Kohli unfortunately got run out mixed up with Rahane scoring 74 useful runs and Rahane followed him scoring 42 runs and India were in trouble. Hanuma Vihari also departed scoring 16 runs and India were 206/6. WP Saha 9* and R Ashwin 15* runs bated till end of 1st day and India were 233/6 as stumps day-1. MA Starc took 2 wickets for Australia.
