Resuming batting from 98/2 India with CA Pujara's 77, Rishabh Pant's wonderful 97 runs and Hanuma Vihari & Ravichandran Ashwin's classic batting performances bated til end of the day and succeded to draw match. India made 334 runs having lost 5 wicket with Hanuma Vihari 23* (161) and R Ashwin 39* (128) remained not out. SPD Smith declared man of the match for his 131 & 81 runs in match. Four match Test series level 1-1 as well.

Day 4 : Labuschagne, Smith & Cameron Green's fifties led Aus to set 407 runs target and India were 98/2 at stumps

Resuming batting from 103/2 Australia with Labuschagne, SPD Smith and Cameron Green's wonderful fifties declared 2nd inning scoring 312/6 and set huge 407 runs target for India to get. Labuschagne 73, SPD Smith 81 and Cameron Green's superb 84 runs wee highlights of Australian inning. In 2nd inning India were 98/2 with 8 wickets remaining and still needs 309 runs at stumps day-4.

Day 3 : Australia with 103/2 on top with 197 runs lead and Smith 29 & Labuschagne 47 in middle to bat on 4th day

Resuming batting from 96/2 India all out scoring 244 runs with CA Pujara's 50 runs. There were three betsman unfortunately run out in India's inning. Pet Cummins with four wickets was highest wicket taker for Australia. In 2nd inning Australia lead by 197 runs with 8 wickets remaining and were 103/2 with Labuschagne 47 and SPD Smith 29 in the middle at stumps day-3.

Day 2 : SPD Smith's 131 & Labuschagne's 91 helps Aus to a 338 runs, Ind were 96/2 with Gill's fifty at stumps

Resuming batting from 166/2 Australia with SPD Smith's superb 131 and M Labuschagne's 91 runs made 338 runs in 1st inning. RA Jadeja bowled well and picked-up 4 wickets. Bumrah and NA Saini took 2 wickets each for India. India got good start with RG Sharma and S Gill initially. Both added 70 runs for 1st wicket before Rohit got out scoring 26 runs. Shubhman also played good inning of 50 runs before left the field. India were 96/2 with CA Pujara 9 and AM Rahane 5 in the middle at stumps day-2.

Day 1 : Will Pucovski's 62 and M Labuschagne's 67* runs helps Australia to get solid start with 166/2 at stumps

Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. Mohammed Siraj got David Warner early scoring just 5 runs. Will Pucovski and M Labuschagne took the charge in hand and played good cricket for Australia. Will Pucovski played good inning of 62 runs before got out leg before wicket of Navdeep Saini. but M Labuschagne and Steven Smith played till end and provide Australia solid start on Day-1. Australia were 166/2 and Steven Smith 31* & M Labuschagne 67* were in middle at stumps day-1.
