Previous year debuted team Gujarat Lions Rajkot have already spent INR 51.65 crore salary cap before 2017 IPL Auction process retaining 16 players for up-coming VIVO IPL Season 10. As per IPL governing council rule each team can spend 66 crore INR to make up their final squad. Gujarat Lions still have INR 14.35 crore salary cap left for Auction process and get more players to play for Rajkot in IPL2017. Dale Steyn is big name released by Gujarat Lions who offered 2.3 crore in last year IPL auction.
Gujarat Lions Rajkot Retained total 16 Players before Auction process of IPL 2017. Ten Indian Players: Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Praveen Kumar, Dinesh Karthik, Dhawal Kulkarni, Ishan Kishan, Pradeep Sangwan, Shadab Jakati, Jaydev Shah & Shivil Kaushik and Six Overseas Players: James Faulkner, BB McCullum, Dwayne Bravo, Dwayne Smith, Aaron Finch & Andrew Tye has been already selected for IPL10 Gujarat Lions Squad before Auction process. IPL2017 GLR Remaining Squad will completed by Auction process.
GLR has Released total 8 Players before auction from IPL 2017. Six Indian players: E Dwivedi, Paras Dogra, Sarabjit Ladda, Pravin Tambe, Umang Sharma, Amit Mishra(1) & Akshdeep Nath and One Overseas player Dale Steyn.
