3rd oneday international match of three odi match series played between India vs Australia at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

Opting to bat first, Australia with most batsmen's good start managed to set good traget of 270 runs for India to get. Mitchell Marsh with 47 runs were top scorer for Australia. Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets each for India as well.

Following target of 270 runs, India faught hard with Virat Kohli's 54 runs and Hardik Pandya's 40 runs but managed to score 248 runs and lost the match by 21 runs. Adam Zampa bowled well and took 4 wickets of 45 runs. He declared man of the match. Australia won the 3-match ODI series 2-1 as well.
