Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium formerly known as Mirpur Stadium is located in Dhaka, Capital city of Bangladesh. The Stadium is located 10 kilometers away from city centre of Dhaka. The Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium, named after AK Fazlul Haque, one of the country's most renowned leaders and freedom fighters in the 1940s.
This ground is well equipped with world class facilities and is one of the best cricket grounds in subcontinent. The best facility of the ground is the modern dreinage facility. The ground was fitted with floodlights in 2009. it is able to host day-night cricket matches afterwords.
