3rd Group match of IPL edition 2017 will be played between Gujarat Lions v Kolkata Knight Riders on 7th April, 2017 at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot at 8:00 pm.
Gujarat Lions Rajkot led by Suresh Raina has good star Indian players like KD Karthik, Praveen Kumar, Munaf Patel, Dhaval Kulkarni along with Overseas players BB McCullum, Dwayne Dravo, AJ Finch, DR Smith, James Faulkner and J Roy to take charg for team. Unfortunately RA Jadeda will miss few matches due to injury. Over all goood combination of batsmen and Bowlers can give Gujarat batter start in their 1st match of IPL 2017 at Rajkot.
On other hand, Kolkata looks confident with skipper Gautam Gambhir and Indian star players like : RV Uthapa, YK Pathan, PP Chawla, MAnish Pandey, UT Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav along with Foreign players like : Sunil Narine, Trent Boult, Shakib Al-Hasan, Cris Woakes and Darren Bravo to give perfact fight to Gujarat at their home venue in opening match of Kolkata at Rajkot.
