The final match played at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai where Hyderabad played with two times title holder Chennai Super Kings and Chennai won the match by 8 wickets. Hyderabad stands on no.2 position in IPL 2018.

Good peace of batting performances by DA Warner & splendid bowling powered Hyderabad to win over Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 runs in a Final Encounter of IPL season 9 and grab IPL 2016 Trophy as well. Ben Cutting declared man of the match for his quick inning of 39 runs of just 15 balls and picked up 2 important wickets....

The 6th Season of IPL 2013 featured 9 teams. Sunrisers Hyderabad with maiden IPL entry, got very good start in debut season. In group stage matches, Hyderabad with 10 wins in 16 matches qualify for IPL 2013 Playoffs. In Eliminator match, Hyderabad defeted by Rajasthan Royals and ended their journey of IPL season 6. The final match was played at the Eden Gardens Stadium, Kolkata where two times title holder Chennai Super Kings played against Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians won the match by 23 Runs and won IPL Trophy for the First time in Indian Premier Legue history.
