In 9th edition of IPL, Bengaluru skipper V Kohli were on top form through out season and RCB were No.2 position with 8 wins in 14 group stage matches. Bengaluru also beat Gujarat in Playoffs and qualify for Final. In Final match good peace of batting performances by DA Warner & splendid bowling powered Hyderabad to win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 8 runs and Grab IPL 2016 Trophy as well. Ben Cutting r declared man of the match for his quick inning of 39 runs of 69 runs of just 15 balls and picked up 2 important wickets.. |
In 4th edition of IPL, Bengaluru were on top position in Points Table tally with 9 wins in 14 group stage matches. CH Gayle and Virat Kohli led from front with stunning batting performances through out the season. In final match Chennai Super Kings with superb batting performances of MK Hussey 63 and Murali Vijay's 95 runs of just 52 balls out played Royal Challangers Bengaluru by 58 runs. Chennai won consecutive 2nd title of IPL with rocking performances. |
2nd IPL season 2009 was hosted by South Africa. Bengaluru were on 3rd position in Points tally in group stage matches. In semi final match Bengaluru beat Chennai and qualify for Final encounter. In a final match at The Wanderers, Johannesburg against Deccan Chargers, Royal Challengers lost the match by 6 runs and Deccan registered IPL 2009 title for the first time. |
