13th Group Stage match of CLT20 2014 was played between Kings XI Punjab and Northern Districts (KXIP vs ND) at PCA Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh. Punjab crushed Northern Districts by 120 runs and rule on the top of Points Table tally of CLT20 2014. M Vohra (Kings XI Punjab) declared man of the match for his 65 runs of 32 balls.
Earlier, Northern D won the toss and elected to field first and let Punjab to set target. Panjub putting into bat first, made superb start with Manan Vohra and Virender Sehwag. Both added 102 runs in 8.3 overs before Vohra got out scoriing quick 65 runs of just 32 balls with 8 fours and 3 towring sixes. Sehwag also played good inning of 52 runs of 37 balls. In later overs DA Miller played quick inning of 40 runs of 18 balls and managed to put huge score of 215 runs in 20 overs.
Following huge target of 216 runs, Districts all batsmen knnes down against Punjab bowlers and all out scoring 95 runs in 15.2 overs and lost the match by huge margin of 120 runs. AP Devcich made 28 runs, which was highest individual score from Northern Districts. Karanveer Singh of Punjab picked up 4 wickets.
